Starting at Carlisle, there is extensive coverage of the area inclding Kingmoor and Upperby sheds and the long-closed station at Floriston close to the Scottish border. Then onto the WCML to Shap with scenes at Tebay, Oxenholme, Carnforth, Skipton, Barrow- in - Furness and Lancaster. There follows much steam action around Preston, Farringdon Junction, Leyland, and Lostock Hall shed. Further locations included the stations at Accrington, Wigan, Warrington, Crewe and the sheds at Edge Hill, Speke Junction, Crewe South and Bolton. Next is the Manchester area with locations such as Victoria Station, Miles Platting Bank, Stockport Edgeley station and shed, Heaton Mersey shed, New Mills and Chinley. Then, away fron the North West to the East Midlands and Nottingham Victoria on the Great Central in 1964 along the East Leake, Mansfield, Penistone and Canklow shed plus a 9F cab ride.
