78 Mins. Colour. Narration. Scenes of steam acitivity at Lancaster in the 1960s including a short visit to the Morecambe to Heysham line with Black Fives and the Lostock Hall breakdown train attending a derailment. Back to the WCML with footage at Hest Bank and its troughs. Then, northwards to Carnforth with many Black Fives and BR Standards including a number of Britannias and 9Fs. Also Included are a few diesel classes incluing a Clayton Class 17, Class 40, and Metrovick Co Bo No. 5714. Bullied No. 35012 is shown on a special and Britannia 70013 was present along with B1 No. 61306 in a siding. Then, its onwards through Oxenholme and the climb to Graygigg, Low Gill and Dillicar for its troughs. Tebay shed was visited. Motive power observed on the journey included Princess Coronations, Royal Scots, Jubilees, Black Fives, 8Fs, 9Fs along with other BR Standard classes.
