79 Mins. Colour. Narration. This volume depicts industrial steam at work in England and Scotland from 1960 to 1980 with the emphasis more on the larger locomotives at colleries and iron stone mines. Mostly the products of private builders, some ex BR tank classes were also employed. The North East and Midland areas are covered with many scenes of locomotives working in an industrial environment much of which is now long since gone. Many of the engines survived into preservation and a number are shown at work on the Tanfield, Foxfield and Blaenavon Railways.
