60 Mins. Colour. Narration. Features steam in the 1960s betwen Manchester and Lancaster via Warrington, Wigan and Preston. A visit was then made to the West Coast Main Line via Latchford and Arpley Junctions and on to Warrington Bank Quay before travelling northwards to Winnick and Wigan. Then, onwards to Preston via Farrington Junction and northwards to Barton and Broughton, Brock water troughs and Garstang before arriving in Lancaster. Motive power seen included a few Royal Scots and Jubilees along with other ex LMS and BR Standard locomotives.
