80 Mins. Mostly colour. Narration. Begins with an extensive coverage of Peterborough in 1963 with all four classes of Pacific seen along with V1s and B1s. Then, on to Spalding with much steam hauled traffic including B1s, 9Fs, WDs and V2s. Next, on to Doncaster and Leeds from where a B16 took a railtour to Boroughbridge and Middleton with a V3 in attendance. Continuing onwards to the Wakefield area a visit is made to Fryston colliery before continuing to Scarborough, York, the Newcstle area before heading northwards to Berwick. Over one hundred recogniseable locomotives depicted and mainly former LNER motive power.
