Mostly colour. Narration. The Standage route from Yorkshire into Lancashire was covered in Part One as far as the Calder Valley. Part two continues from there and traverses the line to Manchester via Huddersfield and Standage with a variety of motive power seen on the four track main line. Travelling down the Tame Valley to Stalybridge, there is a diversion to Guide Bridge and the Woodhead Route and a mixing of 1500V DC electrics with steam. There is a return to L&Y lines at Manchester via Denton and Miles Platting, Newton Heath and a route via Middleton, Rochdale, Whitworth, Royton and Oldham with a steam railtour.
