Please note that following the introduction of Chip & Pin, for mail order purposes we are required by the Card Processors to record the 3-digit security No. on the reverse of the card along with both the postcode and house no. PLEASE DO NOT at any time reveal your PIN No. and be assured that we do NOT store card holders details electronically. All transaction details are recorded with the file copy only.

We only charge for items if the goods are with us and ready for despatch on that day.

Accordingly, Railroad Trading/75D Railway Books/J Bloom cannot accept responsibility for the security of information you send and receive from us over the internet or for any unauthorised access or use of that information. 

MAIL ORDER

Please note:  Although postal rates increased on the 5 April 2011 we have not, as yet, revised our charges. The current charges by Royal Mail: Ordinary (Second class)* post to UK mainland addresses are as follows: Normally, min. £2.50 on orders up to £25.00 but 10% thereafter. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: The cost of postage and packing does not relate soley to the price of the stamp! Included are ever increasing costs of packaging material, adhesive tape etc etc.

*Registered Post / First Class / Next Day / Courier / Overseas / etc: Chargeable at cost.

IMPORTANT:

i).  Please advise us of a delivery address where someone would be able to receive the order because we cannot be held responsible for parcels left anywhere on the property or with any third party,

ii). Items are NOT supplied either  C.O.D. or on approval, and

iii). We do NOT issue pro-forma invoices and any such request would be refused.
